We are excited to invite you to the Project Entrepreneurship: Startup Showdown (2nd Edition) hosted by Tulip Ventures! Here’s everything you need to know about the initiatives:
Purpose
Over 100 startup ideas are generated annually during the PE course; we want to find the best!
This competition aims to incentivize you to invest extra effort and passion into your startup ideas by offering the opportunity to pitch to industry insiders and professional investors, win prizes, and gain valuable exposure.

The startup showdown will have two phases: the tutorials and the final.

What You Need to Do to Participate:
- Attend and participate during your tutorial: Between June 18th and 19st, our analysts will attend all PE tutorials to select the best startup idea in each session that will go to the final.
- Impress the Analysts: Selection criteria include:
- How well you identify the problem.
- Feasibility and thoughtfulness of your solution.
- Novelty of your solution.
- Competence and determination to execute.
- Passion and effort demonstrated.
- If you are selected as the best exchange contacts with the analyst and send us your presentation at [email protected].
The Final Event
The event will occur on June 23rd at Roeterseiland Campus Room M1.02 from 4 PM to 7 PM.
Schedule:
- Introduction (10 minutes):
- Introduce the event and thank the attendees.
- Overview of Tulip Ventures.
- Present the judges and explain the rules, including timing and prizes.
- Startup Pitches (1.5 hour):
- Expect participation from at least 8 of the 12 startups.
- Allocate 4 minutes for each pitch, followed by 2 minutes of feedback.
- Jury Decision and Award Presentation (30 minutes).
